About us

Insulmaterials is a trade name of Insulgroup BV, based in the Netherlands. We supply installers, EPC contractors and end-users across the energy, petrochemical, marine and process industries. Our catalogue is built on one principle: every insulation problem has the right material, and we supply it from a single source.

With over thirty years of combined team experience and more than six hundred completed projects, we know industrial insulation from the inside out. We understand which materials perform under real conditions — not only what a datasheet promises, but how an insulation blanket holds up around a furnace flange, how an aerogel product behaves on a stripped pipe run, or how a refractory section copes with cycling thermal loads.

What we supply

Our catalogue covers the full temperature range of industrial insulation. Insulation blankets and ceramic fibre products — RCF and bio-soluble blankets, vacuum-shaped parts and insulation modules, with classifications up to well over 1400 °C. Aerogel for pipe insulation and tight-space applications, including cryogenic service. Refractory bricks, calcium silicate and microporous boards, mortars and adhesives for furnaces and hot process equipment. High-temperature fabrics, insulation sleeves, expansion joints and gaskets for flanges and penetrations.

The principle is the same for every application: we think from the project, not from the shelf. The right material depends on temperature, chemistry, mechanical load, fire behaviour and expected service life — that is what we advise on.

How we work

We are a direct trading partner: no intermediaries, no waiting on distribution layers. Our specialised staff are reachable by phone and email for technical questions, material selection and lead-time coordination. For repeat projects we deliver from stock in the Netherlands, with short lead times to European job sites and installations.
