Kaowool® RCF blankets are spun refractory ceramic fibre blankets developed for high-temperature insulation and hot-face or backup linings in industrial thermal systems. They are widely applied in furnaces, boilers, flue and process ducts, pipework and chimney systems where stable thermal performance and mechanical integrity are required. The material combines low thermal conductivity, high tensile strength and good thermal-shock resistance, supporting energy efficiency and process stability. The blanket is binder-free, which avoids smoke and odour from binder burn-off during first heat-up.
