Anchoring systems for fibre insulation — press-on clips, Y- and comb anchors in heat-resistant steel

Anchoring is the mechanical skeleton beneath every fibre-blanket or module insulation: without a reliable fixing system, insulation slumps, thermal bypass paths develop along the wall, and the furnace or pipe lining eventually fails. We supply the full range of weld-on anchoring for industrial furnaces, boilers, flue ducts, piping and high-temperature installations.

Press-on clips are quick-mount holders that snap over a weld stud and fix the blanket against the steel wall — ideal for single-layer blanket installations and patch repairs. Y-anchors are weld studs with a forked tip on the outer side that hold multiple blanket layers in place through the full insulation thickness — typical for double- and triple-layer blanket linings up to furnace-wall temperatures. Comb anchors are pre-bent anchoring strips integrated into fibre-blanket modules so that a 300×300 mm block (or larger) is anchored to the wall plate in a single step.

Material selection follows wall temperature: AISI 304 for moderately hot zones, AISI 310/314 or Inconel 601/625 for the hottest zones, and carbon steel for the coolest sections. Standard sizes ship from stock; bespoke variants are supplied on request.
