High Temperature Fabrics

Woven high-temperature fabrics for thermal protection, sealing and mechanical barriers up to 1100°C

High temperature fabrics are woven panel cloths supplied as flat sheet, used where tapes, ropes or braided sleeving cannot deliver enough surface coverage. Typical applications include welding blankets and heat shielding around cutting torches in steelworks and foundries, fabric infill for expansion joints, lagging on furnaces, ducting and exhaust runs, fire barriers between adjacent equipment, and tooling blankets in casting bays. The available roll widths and weights make the cloths suitable for both light heat protection and heavy-duty industrial shielding.

The range covers the full fibre spectrum: E-glass to roughly 550°C, V4A-reinforced glass fabric to 600°C, HT glass to 750°C, silicate filament to 1000°C, silicate staple fibre and stainless-steel reinforced ceramic textile to 1100°C. Stainless-steel or glass yarn reinforcements add mechanical stability; silicate, graphite or vermiculite coatings add gas-tightness, abrasion resistance and additional fire performance. This deep-dive complements the broader HT textiles range, where ropes, tapes and braids are addressed separately.
