High-Temperature Textiles
Heat-resistant textiles for sealing, protection and expansion compensation up to 1100°C
Our high-temperature textiles range includes woven tapes, cloths, ropes, braided sleeving and insulation mats based on ceramic fibres, E-glass and S-glass filaments, and aramid (in blended yarns). These products are used for thermal sealing, expansion compensation, mechanical protection, and the wrapping of pipes, flanges and expansion joints in industrial plants. Stainless steel or glass-fibre reinforcements improve mechanical stability, while silicate, graphite or vermiculite coatings enhance sealing and gas-tightness. Temperature classes range from 550°C (glass fibre) to over 1100°C (ceramic textiles), matching typical process conditions in steel, petrochemical, power-generation and foundry installations.
