Superwool Plus Board is a rigid insulation panel chosen for applications where mechanical stability and a precise, reproducible shape matter more than the drape of a flexible blanket. Typical roles include self-supporting furnace elements, combustion-system linings, flame holders, burner panels, and back-up insulation in refractory assemblies. The board form factor speeds up modular furnace builds and keeps thermal performance uniform across each panel.

The substrate is made from alkaline earth silicate (AES) fibres with Superwool Plus chemistry, a low-biopersistence high-temperature wool that meets Note Q of European Regulation EC/1272/2008 and is therefore exempt from carcinogen classification. The board carries a classification temperature of 1200°C (KFT) with a continuous use temperature around 1050°C and a melting point near 1325°C. Densities and panel thicknesses are available in several combinations on request.
